ABOUT US

The Ferness Foundation is a non-profit organization composed of community members & business professionals, who are passionate about improving the lives of Saint Lucians through education, financing, and empowerment. Ferness Foundation was organized in Vieux-Fort, St. Lucia on March 29th, 2018 in order to provide for the common good and welfare, of the individuals who reside in St Lucia especially the Vieux fort North Communities. The Mission of the organization shall be “To Work with Communities in Support of Education, Maintenance of Peace, Resolution of Poverty and Improvement of Healthcare”. Our Aims and Objectives are as follows:

To promote the general welfare of individuals who reside in St Lucia West Indies.
To promote advancement, fraternity and unity among all citizens and residents of St Lucia
To offer financial assistance where possible to citizens and residents St Lucia.
To organize and promote the furtherance of the economic, spiritual, educational, social, healthcare and cultural development of individuals who live in St Lucia.

Every year the foundation gives back to the Vieux Fort North communities by sponsoring education programs and supplies, donating food hampers, Christmas toy drives and assisting the elderlies. We continuing to do all we can to support the communities.

PROGRAMS

December Toy Drive

We are aware of the many families who are not able to give their children gifts during the festive season, and so we have distributed gifts without fail every year to the Vieux Fort North area. This year we would like to go to every community in Vieux Fort North; Belle Vue, Pierrot, Vige, and Grace

Educational Fund

We recently began our education initiative to provide scholarships to students during the summer before the academic year begins. Help us invest in our youth by donating toward this fund.

It is our aim to place an accessible book hub in each community to provide free books for the children of that community.

Cancer Fund

In support of Cancer Patients. This year we are looking to help at least two cancer patients with their medical care. Help us reach this goal by donating toward our Cancer Fund

Back-to-School Supply Drive

We are working toward our objective of reaching more communities as we annually provide school supplies to the many communities in the Vieux Fort North area. Help us reach our goal of expanding to more communities.

General

Donation towards our overall running expenses, This includes website subscriptions, marketing, software subscriptions etc.

Jazz Meets Kweyol

October Fundraising Music and Food Festival- Donate towards the preparation for this fundraising event which aspires to bring together two amazing music genres and showcase our culture in food and music.
